About me

My name
I call myself Mads7 or Mads_7, depending on if the underscore is allowed. I have begun abandoning the underscore, trying to keep it to only one name. I have been considering changing it, but it'll have to do for now.

Star Fox
I'm a huge fan of Star Fox. It all started when I was a Playstation guy and had no knowledge about other Nintendo games than Mario. At one point in my Playstation time, I for some reason even hated Nintendo and wanted them to die. Though, I was still playing Pokemon on my beloved Gameboy. (Yeah I know..) But summer 2002 (I think), I saw a demo stand with some weired purple cube inside and with the most stupid looking controller I had ever seen. And it was playing some weired looking Pokemon game. Because Pikachu was there! :O But then what was Mario and some other characters I didn't know doing there? It was at that point, I figured out that this had to be a new Nintendo thingy. Love at first sight, screw the PS2, which I hadn't pulled myself together to spend my money on. As soon as I got home from holiday, I rushed to the bank and got the money for the cube, plus an extra controller and of course that weired but awesome Super PokeSmashMarioMon Bros. Melee. In that game, I got to know this Fox, which I didn't pay very much atention to, before I saw another Gamecube stand, where I could choose all kinds of previews. I came across this game called Star Fox Adventures, and this was looking super ultra awesome. Ultra-Love at first sight. It was first a little later I realized that it was the same Fox from the Super Smash game. When I finally got the game, I was for some unexplainable reason blown away by the game, and it was instant favorite. From that point, I started investigating the roots of Star Fox and soon i wanted a Nintendo 64 and SNES so badly. From there I started learning about how I could get hold of old Nintendo stuff, started to collect, and here I am, with an averagely satisfying collection.

Why drupalsite.org?
I suddenly felt like getting a blog, but not just any blog. I want to to most of the stuff myself and I prefer Linux hosting. This fitted perfectly together with my desire to try out a good CMS and drupal preferred.
